The late George Steinbrenner’s 13,480-square-foot gated mansion in Tampa, Florida, was listed for sale Tuesday for $5.75 million. Steinbrenner, who owned the New York Yankees baseball team for nearly four decades, and his wife, Joan, bought the two-story house for $3.8 million in 2000. They undertook a major expansion and rebuild of the home in 2001, and only a few parts of the original house remain, according to the listing. Florida will spend about $200 million on affordable housing next year
